New executive members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State have been elected through consensus and affirmation, in accordance with party directives.
The congress, held on Tuesday under the supervision of the Chairman of the Yobe State APC Electoral Committee, Engr. Muttaka Rabe Darma, saw Alhaji Muhammadu Gadaka emerge as State Chairman for a second term, alongside 36 other officials.
Governor Mai Mala Buni urged the new leadership to justify the confidence placed in them by party delegates by remaining honest, trustworthy, and patient with members at all times. He also commended the party’s key stakeholders for their steadfast efforts in uniting members and ensuring the successful conduct of the congress.
The new executives, led by Alhaji Muhammadu Gadaka, expressed their commitment to working tirelessly to ensure the party’s success in the state. They pledged to strengthen party unity, mobilise support, and secure victory in future elections.
