Onua FM blogger Iron Lady Yaa Titi slammed internet characters, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw and Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, over their criticism on the Vice President’s ill-health.
Speaking on her show on Onua Television, Iron Lady attacked the two for being disrespectful in their coverage of Professor Opoku Agyemang falling poorly.
Maurice Ampaw, on his Wontumi TV show, accused the ruling National Democratic Congress ( NDC ) of scheming to ‘ get rid’ of the Vice President after using her to gain power. Okatakyie Afrifa, without evidence, alleged that the Veep suffered a stroke and attacked the NDC for neglecting her health, alleging their actions might lead to her dying as happened to the late President, Professor John Atta Mills.
Iron Lady Yaa Titi dubbed both editors as ‘ empty-headed’, alleging they were spreading propganda. She called for them to be dealt with to serve as a barrier to others about spreading dishonesty.
The Vice President, Professor Opoku Agyemang, late fell ill. The Presidency, in a speech, said she was taken to the University of Ghana Medical Center for care and afterwards, flown abroad for more professional care.
Her ill-health has sparked a flood of responses, with reviewers of the state alleging a lack of clarity regarding her situation.
