After Kodua denied that the NPP had approached him, Kwame Asare Obeng, better known as A Plus, responded to Justin Kodua Frimpong, the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP ). In a post, A Plus revealed that both the NPP and the National Democratic Congress ( NDC ) had contacted him about working together in Parliament.
A Plus shared that Kennedy Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central, offered him a deal on behalf of the NPP. A Plus agreed to join the NPP in Parliament, but he agreed not to work for the Gomoa Central political seats in 2028. He also mentioned that he had been invited to a conference by the NDC the following morning.
He stated,” While I have friends in both the NDC and NPP, they may know that I will have to offend one of them who has invited me to a conference. I’m inclined toward the NDC, but I’ll stick with the one that offers the best offer to my people and me.
In reply, Justin Kodua denied A Plus’s says. He posted on X, saying,” The NPP has never met with A Plus, nor has anyone from the party spoken to him”. In a video, A Plus immediately responded with powerful thoughts for Kodua, accusing him of leading the NPP into battle in the 2024 elections. He said,” You led the party into opposition. I’m then the MP-elect for Gomoa Central, but your group is collapsing. Your social career is over. They may choose you in the election. You’re poor and useless”.
Kodua was likewise warned by A Plus, who claimed he knew his techniques. ” Nana Agyei is my friend, and if you misbehave, I will start exposing your tricks”, he threatened.
