The five young people arrested in the case of the passage à tabac of an alleged pig thief on 14 August last have finally regained their freedom. These young people after more than a month at the MAC de Ziguinchor, have found their families au courant de cette semaine.. The trial of these five young people, including the president of the pork sellers at the Tilène market, was sent back for the first time on Tuesday 23 September 2025. The trial has finally turned in favour of these 5 young people, including the president of the pork sellers of Tilène, whose comrades have mobilized since the beginning of the case for his release.
