In the night of 10 to 11 July 2025, the office of the supervisor coordinator of the lycée Djignabo de Ziguinchor was set on fire. (a criminal act that is targeted) According to the information received by our newsroom, unidentified individuals broke into the establishment by breaking a window of the office of the supervisor coordinator. They then set fire to the room and its contents. Furniture, chairs, tables and administrative documents were burned. According to preliminary findings, the documents destroyed were not essential to the smooth running of the baccalauréat examinations. I am very much in favour of this.
