The SEN’EAU announced on Wednesday that disruptions will affect the drinking water distribution service in Dakar, its suburbs, as well as Rufisque and its environs this Thursday. SEN’EAU informs its clients that the renovation of the strategic equipment of the conduit of the Lake of Guiers n°1 will be carried out on Thursday 22 August 2024 from 15h. During these works, customers could encounter disturbances in the water distribution service, ranging from a low pressure to a total lack of water in the areas concerned. L’entreprise responsable de l’exploitation et de la distribution de l’eau potable en zone urbaine et périurbaine specifies that the situation will gradually return to normal in the morning of Friday 23 August 2024. In order to alleviate the difficulties encountered by the population, a system of tank-trucks will be set up to supply water to the quarters most affected by the lack of supply.
