
The Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, is the first player to report to the team’s camp in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The goalkeeper landed in Cairo, the Egypt capital at about 2:00am local time on Sunday morning.
The team camp for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations officially opened on Sunday at the Renaissance Hotels in Cairo, Egypt.
At the moment, Eric Chelle, his coaching crew and backroom staff are already in the camp waiting to welcome the players.
Nigeria will face Tanzania, Uganda and Tunisia in the Group C of the tournament as they aim to secure a fourth continental title.
The Super Eagles’ first game of the tournament is against Tanzania on Tuesday, December 23.
Players are expected to join the team as arrangements continue. They are scheduled to play a pre-AFCON international friendly against Egypt on Tuesday.
