2027: Atiku meets U.S lawmakers amid election concerns

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Thursday met with representatives of Congressman Riley Moore to discuss election and security concerns in Nigeria.

This was disclosed in a statement by Von Batten-Montague-York, L.C., a Washington D.C.-based lobbying firm representing former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The statement read in part: “We are pleased to announce that earlier today, representatives of Congressman @RepRileyMoore and former Nigerian Vice President @atiku met to discuss the importance of protecting every Nigerian’s right to a free and fair election in order to enable Nigerians to elect leaders willing and able to resolve the security issues facing all Nigerians.

“The meeting was very productive and focused on the urgent need for election integrity, peace, and long-term stability in Nigeria,” it said.

Von Batten-Montague-York, L.C. was hired to strengthen the reputation of former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the United States.

DAILY POST recalls that this comes as the chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, had submitted his presidential nomination forms ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The former vice president urged Nigerians to join him in restoring the country and bringing back the “good old days.”
