
Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has downplayed the possibility of contesting governorship position in the state come 2027.
Natasha disclosed that she may likely run for the Senate in 2027 after much consultations from her family and relevant stakeholders.
In an interview on Mic On Podcast with Seun Okinbaloye on Saturday, Natasha said she is currently in talks with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
She said: “I’m not even promised tomorrow, if by chance I live to experience the 2027 election, I may vye for the Senate again.
“That is what I’m currently in conversation with, with my political party and it’s not yet certain because I first have to get the buying of my husband and family.
“But if by chance he says go ahead I will take that step, as for the governorship in 2027, I don’t know and would not like to speak about that.”
She also dismissed the possibility of joining the All Progressives Congress, APC, from the PDP.
