The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (Anacim) announces a widespread rainy episode over a large part of the national territory this Tuesday, in the heart of the rainy season especially in the East and South. According to the forecasts, rain accompanied by thunderstorms are expected from this afternoon and should intensify in the night, particularly affecting the regions of the West, including Dakar, Thiès and Louga, as well as the South of the country, from Ziguinchor to Kolda. The centre-south will not be spared, with locally heavy precipitation forecast in Kaolack, Fatick et Nioro.
