The drama took place on Monday 7 July in Sindia, in the department of Mbour. In the evening, F. Bâ, a resident of the neighbourhood, was alerted by cries of distress coming from the street. Leaving her home, she discovered the lifeless body of the “Jakarta man”, lying in a pool of blood. According to L’Observateur, the victim had “penetrating wounds” on her stomach, head and chest.
