Despite boasting two of Africa’s top forwards, Barbara Banda and Racheal Kundananji, Zambia’s Copper Queens suffered a significant defeat, losing 5-0 to the Super Falcons. Ajibade, who earned the Player of the Match title, assisted in the second and fifth goals scored by Esther Okoronkwo and Folashade Ijamilusi, while Osinachi Ohale, Chiwendu Ihezuo, and Tosin Demehin also found the net. “There was a lot of talk from the Zambia camp, and we heard everything,” Ajibade mentioned in the post-match conference. “It served as a major source of inspiration for us in this match.”
