Jadon Sancho, who has fallen out of favor at Manchester United, is said to be willing to accept a considerable reduction in salary to facilitate a transfer back to Borussia Dortmund this summer. The 25-year-old performed at his peak while at Dortmund but has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford. BILD, as mentioned by Caught Offside, indicates that the England international is ready to lower his €16 million annual salary to ensure the move goes through, as he aims to return to Germany. He has allegedly informed the management of the German club that he would be willing to join them for €8 million per year. It will be interesting to see if Dortmund can come to an agreement with Manchester United, as the winger is keen on returning to Germany. Since his transfer to England, he has struggled to perform at his best, despite helping Chelsea win the UEFA Europa Conference League while on loan at Stamford Bridge last season. United aims to recoup some of the investment made in Dortmund in 2021 to acquire him, as they do not consider him a vital part of their future plans. It remains to be seen if the two clubs will reach an agreement in the coming weeks. Sancho scored only 12 goals and provided six assists in 82 matches for Manchester United, in contrast to his 53 goals and 67 assists in 158 matches for Dortmund.
