Dakar is a new premier magistrate. Abasse Fall was officially elected mayor of the Senegalese capital, following the vote of the municipal council held on Monday. Succeeding his predecessor Barthelemy Dias, he takes the reins of a city at the heart of the country’s political, economic and social issues.
