A judicial and financial fraud affecting the banking and transport sector in Senegal. The company Sogetransfers to the company Sofico, after the assignation deemed doubtful of a claim initially contracted with the Banque Atlantique. According to Libération, a judicial expert has concluded that the real claim due by Sogetrans to the Banque Atlantique amounts to 2,314. 242,526 Fcfa, far from the 7,656 billion Fcfa that the bank had placed and then “sold” to Sofico. This difference of more than 5,3 billion Fcfa is today at the heart of a judicial battle. In parallel, the Banque Atlantique and Sofico have proceeded to the seizure of a three-hectare plot of land belonging to Sogetrans. This real estate was sold for an amount of 800 million Fcfa to Sofico.
