The Rift Valley fever continues to spread in Senegal, with a first case reported in Nioro, in the Kaolack region, after that of Keur Massar (Dakar). The country has a total of 211 confirmed cases, including 21 deaths and 162 recoveries. The majority of cases are located in Saint-Louis (193), followed by Matam (8), Louga (6) and Fatick (2), according to Libération, citing the Ministry of Health.
