Samba Kâ, a famous tap dancer nicknamed “Rang mou gaw”, was arrested by the police of Linguère. He was the mastermind of a gang that had carried out three armed robberies in the Linguère-Thiès area in recent months. Already convicted for similar offences, he would therefore be a repeat offender. Samba Kâ was arrested as part of the investigation into a robbery at a Linguère money transfer point on the night of 8 to 9 September.
