I Won The American Lottery When I Was 19 Years – NDA Shares Her Story

Ghanaian content creator Naana Donkor Arthur(NDA), who lives in the United States, has shared how winning the American lottery at just 19 changed her life. In an interview with SammyKay Media, Naana said she’s been living in the U.S. for the past 24 years but started her journey from her hometown, Agona Nyaakrom, in Ghana’s Central Region.
“I’m from Agona Nyaakrom, but I’ve been abroad for 24 years. I went to the U.S. through the American lottery,” she said. Naana encouraged people to apply for the lottery when it opens, adding, “It’s free, and it works.”
At the time, Naana had just finished learning sewing, which she said helped her settle in the U.S. “When I went to America, I was 19, and I had finished learning sewing. That’s the skill I used to go there. You need a skill to help you when you move, and that was mine,” she explained.
Naana’s story shows how opportunities like the American lottery can change lives. She has not only built a life in the U.S. but also become a successful content creator. Her journey is an inspiration for others to take chances, prepare themselves, and make the most of the opportunities they get.
