A judicial case almost forgotten in Senegal resurfaces and provokes a lively controversy on social networks. Amadou Mbaye, nicknamed “Eumeu”, aged 21 and incarcerated since 2023 for allegations of rape on his two cousins, sees his dossier questioned after the publication of a shocking video. “According to her, his mother had mounted de toutes pièces the accusations of rape with the complicity of an amie. He never raised his hand against us or tried anything”, she says. His sister, also present in the video, confirms this version of events.
