Former Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has declined an offer to take over as manager of the Turkish club Kayserispor. According to the Portuguese news source A Bola, Peseiro engaged in discussions with the club but ultimately decided against the opportunity. The 64-year-old has been without a contract since March 2024, when his agreement with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) ended. In light of his decision, Kayserispor has now appointed Bosnian Sergej Jakirovic as their new head coach, who will sign a contract lasting one and a half years. The club is currently facing challenges such as a player registration ban for the next three transfer windows, a financial crisis, and a streak of five matches without a victory, which includes four losses and one draw. Kayserispor is positioned 17th in the Turkish Super Lig, having accumulated 16 points. Do you have what it requires? Forecast and Earn Millions Instantly. Sign Up Now. Do you have what it requires?
