Olympic Marseille is negotiating to acquire Sevilla forward Kelechi Iheanacho on loan this month. Iheanacho is likely to depart Sevilla before the winter transfer window closes. The Nigerian striker signed with the Rojiblancos on a free transfer last summer but has faced difficulties in making an impact at the club. Sevilla is open to letting the former Manchester City player go, either on loan or via a permanent deal. The LaLiga team acquired his fellow countryman Jerome Adams from Montpellier on Monday. Iheanacho has multiple offers available, but according to reports from France, he is currently inclined to join Marseille. Marseille has purportedly made connections with Sevilla as well as the striker’s agents.
