Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has signed a contract extension with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.. Plumptre is now contracted to Al-Ittihad until 2027.. The 26-year-old joined the Tigers on a free transfer in 2023 after severing ties with Leicester City.. The player sustained a cruciate ligament injury last year which kept her out of action for around six months.. The injury forced her to miss the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris..
