In the framework of the fight against financial crime and counterfeiting of banknotes, the Keur Massar Investigation Brigade carried out a decisive operation on 13 February 2025 at 22 heures. This operation led to the arrest of two individuals involved in a network of currency counterfeiting and to the seizure of a large quantity of black banknotes with an estimated value of over two billion CFA francs.
