NPFL summons Kun Khalifat FC media officer

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has summoned Kun Khalifat FC Media Officer, Saviola Godwin Otu, to a hearing in Abuja.

Otu is alleged to have made a derogatory statement against the NPFL.

The media officer is expected to appear at the hearing with proof (documents, audio, or visuals) to support his allegation.

It would be recalled that Otu accused the NPFL of double standards following the league body’s refusal to acknowledge Kun Khalifat FC’s request for a match postponement against El-Kanemi Warriors.

He claimed that Katsina United was granted a reprieve in a similar situation involving Kun Khalifat FC.

“The Media Officer of Kun Khalifat FC, Saviola Godwin Otu, has been invited to a hearing at the NPFL headquarters in Abuja following his allegations of double standards by the league body,” the NPFL said in a statement on Wednesday.

“Mr. Otu is expected to appear at the hearing with proof (documents, audio, or visuals) regarding his allegation that Katsina United was granted a reprieve in a similar situation in which Kun Khalifat FC failed to honour their match against El-Kanemi Warriors.”
