
Iran has expressed its willingness to establish a joint team to investigate the ‘allegations’ regarding missile attacks on Turkey.
Iran president, Masoud Pezeshkian, communicated to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, that Tehran is prepared to create a collaborative team to look into the “allegations” of Iranian missile strikes on Turkey, according to reports from Iranian media.
As previously reported, Turkey announced today that NATO air defenses intercepted an Iranian ballistic missile that had breached its airspace and cautioned that it would respond to any such threats.
The occurrence in southern Turkey represents the second Iranian missile interception within the past week.
Turkey has stated that it will undertake decisive measures to protect its territory following a recent ballistic missile assault on its land.
The Defence Ministry of the country indicated that it will implement all necessary actions to address any threats to its territory.
This incident occurred after an Iranian-launched ballistic missile was intercepted upon entering Turkish airspace.
The Defence Ministry remarked, “Turkey values good relations with its neighbors and is committed to maintaining regional stability.”
