Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Emmanuel Babayaro has explained why Atletico Madrid forward, Ademola Lookman didn’t perform well during his time in England.
Lookman has been brilliant for the Spanish LaLiga giants since joining the club from Atalanta in January.
The 28-year-old has scored four goals and provided two assists for Atletico Madrid so far this year.
“When you look at how Lookman did not perform in England, but went on to work wonders in Italy and Spain, why did he never really fit in the UK?
“Lookman likes to play with ease and style. He likes to play without too much pressure.
“But in England, you’ve microseconds before something happens and the pressure is on you to release the ball,” Babayaro stated on the ATHLST podcast.
