Black-owned Cybersecurity Firms Serving Enterprise and Government | Vol. 1

The firms that manage threat detection, risk frameworks, compliance architecture, and incident response for federal agencies, defense contractors, and large commercial enterprises operate inside systems where the cost of failure is severe.

Building a track record in this market requires security clearances, certifications, contract vehicles, and sustained performance across engagements that do not allow for learning on the job.

Each of the firms listed here operates across federal or enterprise markets with relevant certifications and documented past performance.

This is part of an ongoing Shoppe Black series documenting Black-owned cybersecurity firms.

The firm holds SBA 8(a) graduate status, HUBZone certification, SDB, and MBE designations in Maryland and Virginia, and was named a Top-100 MBE by the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council in 2019. Firms operating at this level exist across multiple markets, most with little or no editorial documentation despite years of federal contract history.

Shoppe Black documents how firms like these build contract histories, pursue certifications, and compete in markets where past performance and security clearances determine long-term access.

Firms interested in a dedicated editorial feature can submit an inquiry here.
