UCL: Thierry Henry speaks on Arsenal being ‘boring’ to watch under Arteta

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has shared his opinions on criticism of the team’s style of play under current manager, Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners have been called ‘boring’ for how they grind out results, despite sitting seven points clear of Manchester City in the Premier League.

But Henry, speaking on CBS Sports, argued that Arsenal are simply finding ways to win matches.

According to the Frenchman, there are many ways to control a game of football.

Henry said: “You don’t have to like the way Arsenal F.C. play, but you will respect it.

“Yes, we weren’t great against Bayer 04 Leverkusen, but even on an off night we still found a way to get a draw. That’s what top teams do.”
