Iran war: US needs nothing from NATO – Trump spits fire 

United States President Donald Trump has said that the US does not need anything from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO, in the ongoing crisis between Iran and America.

Trump made this statement in a post on his Truth Social on Thursday.

According to him, the US needs nothing from NATO, but never forget this very important point in time.

DAILY POST had reported that the Republican has raged at NATO throughout the war. Last week, he wrote, “Without the USA, NATO is a paper tiger! They didn’t want to join the fight to stop a Nuclear Powered Iran. Now that fight is Militarily won, with very little danger for them.”

Reports have it that some NATO countries, like the UK and French, are discussing plans to lead a Hormuz coalition to open the key shipping lane, while other NATO countries have expressed an openness to join as well.

Speaking to the Times of Israel last week, Estonia’s foreign ministry its country is very much open to discuss with the US joining a military mission to open the strait.

DAILY POST reports that NATO is a 32-member intergovernmental military alliance founded in 1949 to ensure collective security across Europe and North America.

Based in Brussels, NATO facilitates political and military cooperation to safeguard member freedom, currently focusing on eastern flank defense and supporting Ukraine.
