​2024 CHANQ: Home-based Eagles Keep Ghana To 0-0 Draw In First Leg  

 Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles held Black Galaxies of Ghana to a 0-0 draw, in the first leg of the 2024 Africa Nations Championship ( CHAN ) qualifier in Accra on Sunday. The home-based Eagles edged the first quarter of the game before the Black Galaxies turned the tables. The home group made a strong start in the second quarter, but they were unable to break through the defense. Adamu Abubakar’s energy in the next quarter, which the home-based Eagles came closest to scoring, was off the bar. In the sefond hip scheduled for Saturday, December 28th, 2018, both teams will meet once more in Uyo. The winner of the play-off will advance to the 2024 ( CHAN ) qualifier. The last time the two teams had a fight was against the 2022 edition, which the Black Galaxies won on penalties. The Black Galaxies won the first game 2-0 in Kumasi before the home-based Eagles recorded the exact result in Abuja.
