The traditional meeting of the Government took place on Wednesday 4 June. A cet effet plusieurs mesures ont été prises par le gouvernement. In his communication, the Prime Minister focused on the management of land disputes, the governance of the social protection system and the prevention of risks related to wintering. According to the Prime Minister, the Directorate-General for Surveillance and Control of Land Occupancy (DGSCOS) received between 2024 and 2025 thousands of complaints related to land disputes, most of which remain, to date, without solution. Ce sans compter les nombreuses réclamations et demandes d’arbitrage reçues chaque jour à la Primature. This is the first time that the Primature has received such a complaint. In addition, Ousmane Sonko deplored land grabbing in urban and rural areas which, according to him, is a source of “serious disturbances of public order, prejudice to social cohesion and economic development”. In this sense, the structures concerned are called upon to provide an “adequate and diligent solution to this crucial issue”. To address this situation, he announced the stabilisation of the Terms of Reference for a Global and Inclusive Functional Reform.
