The Regional Brigade of Stupéfiants of Dakar, under the OCRTIS, carried out on Tuesday 4 June 2025 a major operation which led to the arrest of nine (09) persons, including two (02) of Senegalese nationality and seven (07) of foreign nationality, near the garage ” Les Baux maraîchers “. During this intervention, the forces of order seized seventeen (17) kepas de Kush, thirty (30) tramadol tablets, a sum of 33,000 CFA francs, as well as material intended for the packaging of narcotic products. The arrests were made on the basis of information indicating the existence of a vast network of drug trafficking (Kush, Indian cannabis, and other illicit substances), operated mainly by foreign nationals. A targeted surveillance mission to identify and locate the main distribution points and their operators. The individuals apprehended have been placed in custody. The investigation is continuing in order to identify and interpeller possible accomplices.
