Popular media personality, Roby Ekpo, has revealed his intention to petition the United States government against his ex-wife, Mayowa Lambe over alleged marriage fraud.
This is coming a few days after Mayowa got married to another man in the US without an official divorce from Ekpo.
Reacting to the development in a viral interview, Ekpo expressed shock about the news of Mayowaās marriage to another man, and explained how he supported her to travel.
While insisting that Mayowa is still married to him, Ekpo claimed to have bought a flight ticket for Mayowa during her recent visit to Nigeria.
In response, Mayowa through her legal representative issued a cease-and-desist notice to Ekpo, and gave him 48 hours ultimatum to comply with her demands or face legal action.
Mayowa demands include retraction and apology, and payment of N100 million in damages, explaining that marital relationship between them āmutually terminatedā in May 2025.
Challenging Mayowaās defamation notice, Ekpo in via his legal representatives, Tap Legal Services, tagged her N100 million demand as āexcessive, unfounded, and prematureā.
While stating that everything he said was based on his personal experiences with her and not made with malicious intent as she claimed,

Ekpo through his legal representative, further threatened to submit all his evidence along with his petition to the US authorities against her.
