A serious road accident occurred this Thursday at around 14:15, just at the entrance of the Serigne Bassirou Mbacké bridge, next to the Nioro railway station, in the commune of Kaolack, resulting in the death of a person according to witnesses. According to Dakaractu, a vehicle, commonly called ” Cheikhou Chérif “, roulant à vive allure, a tenté un dépassement par la droite. Unfortunately, it overturned and hit a truck parked on the side of the road. The provisional report of this accident states one dead and several injured. At the time of writing, firefighters were on the scene to take care of and evacuate the injured.
