The lifeless body of a young man was discovered, Sunday 21 September, hanging from a cashew tree in the forest classée de Boune (in the banlieue dakaroise). It is a jogger who has given the alert by falling on this macabre scene in the morning. The victim was identified as Ousmane B., a man of large stature who had previously worked in a carpentry-ébénisterie atelier run by his uncle. According to the daily L’Observateur, he had recently experienced health problems, lost his job and had returned to live with his mother. If the thesis of suicide is evoked, des éléments troublants remettent en cause cette piste. Witnesses claim that the feet of the deceased still touched the sun, raising serious questions about the circumstances of his death. The services of scientific police shall proceed to the first observations. An investigation was opened by the commissariat of Yeumbeul-Comico to determine the exact causes of death.
