( BPRW) CBCF Launches New Innovation Leader Scholarship for Students Pursuing Careers in Engineering and Computer Science ( Black PR Wire ) The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. ( CBCF ) is proud to announce the launch of the Innovation Leader Scholarship. This breakthrough initiative aims to support the next generation of various officials in engineering and computer science, empowering them to drive development and shape the future of systems. The Innovation Leader Scholarship may provide monetary assistance to five remarkable rising sophomore, junior, and senior students pursuing degree in engineering or computer science. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled at an ABET-accredited college of engineering that is part of the Advancing Minorities ‘ Interest in Engineering ( AMIE ) network. This program reflects CBCF’s devotion to expanding access to opportunities for underserved students in the STEM areas. By investing in the next generation of designers and computer experts, CBCF is fostering a network of Black skills ready to lead and develop in the tech sector. As a CBCF-led initiative, this scholarship program aims to advance equity in education and provide pathways to career success for students from historically Black colleges and universities ( HBCUs ) and minority-serving institutions ( MSIs ). Software for the Innovation Leader Scholarship opened on February 3, 2025, and consumers will be notified in May 2025.
