​Circular migration: 49 Senegalese leaving Dakar for Spain 

  A new group of 49 migrants, composed of 20 women and 29 men, left Senegal on Monday 9 June 2025 for Spain. This departure is part of the circular migration programme implemented by the Senegalese authorities. This is the second cohort of the present campaign. According to Amadou Chérif Diouf, Secretary of State to the Sénégalais de l’Extérieur, three other departures are scheduled during this month. This mechanism aims to offer opportunities for supervised mobility while strengthening migration cooperation between Senegal and Spain.
