A retired police officer from the Chicago Police Department ( CPD ) has passed away from a gunshot wound that appears to have been self-inflicted.
The 16th &, 17th District Chicago Police Scanner, a X ( formerly Twitter ) account monitoring happenings on the police scanners in Chicago, reported the news following information gleaned from a scanner.
The data came from Spot News, another sensor monitoring X accounts, which shared the natural information from officers.
Chicago PD were called to 5730 Menard following a 911 call. Caller received notification that a female colleague had killed himself. Officers who were present at the scene confirmed the analysis in a back-and-forth with dispatch.
” Okay, 1623, you request the ET for what”? a Dispatcher asked an agent who replied:” Bonafide DOA, retired commander, CPD, visible self-inflicted wound”,
On the north side of the city, a former Chicago Police sergeant died from a gunshot wound that appeared to be self-inflicted.

Now, no other information has been made available regarding the personality of the withdrew commander. More details may be released in due course as CPD investigations are ongoing.
However, Blue Lives Matter Chicago, an institution dedicated to police security, is calling for prayer for the CPD and the heart of the departed commander.
