The Davos Summer Forum opened on Wednesday in Tianjin, in northeast China, in the presence of many international political and economic figures. As a prelude to this important meeting, Chinese Premier Li Qiang hosted a banquet in honour of his distinguished guests, including five Prime Ministers representing several continents. The Prime Minister of Senegal, Ousmane Sonko, took part in this important event. In his speech, Ousmane Sonko also referred to the worrying economic situation left by the former regime of Macky Sall. He revealed the first findings of the audits carried out on public finances since the arrival to power of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye. “When we replaced the regime of Macky Sall, the debt was around 74%.
