​Dislocation of 700 million FCFA: Tabaski Ngom and Momath Ba at the heart of a judicial inquiry 

  Tabaski Ngom, inspector of the Treasury, and Momath Ba, former director general of the APROSI (Agency for the Development and Promotion of Industrial Sites), have not yet been heard by the procureur de la République financier. Deferred this Tuesday before the Judicial Financial Pool, the two defendants are currently the subject of a return of parquet… They are prosecuted for alleged acts of embezzlement of public money, amounting to an estimated 700 million CFA francs. These accusations, particularly serious, concern alleged misappropriations in the management of public funds, arousing great interest among the public. The accused should be brought before the financial prosecutor tomorrow, where they will have to explain themselves about the facts they are accused of. This case arose in a context marked by a growing will on the part of the judicial authorities to combat corruption and mismanagement of public resources, particularly in financial and administrative institutions.
