James ‘Jimmy ’ Mashburn, an intervention specialist at Stow-Munroe Falls High School has died, friends revealed. Mashburn’s suicide occurred in a car accident according to reports. The Akron, Ohio native was remembered in numrous gift messages on social media. “So sad to hear the media now! ! Jimmy Mashburn was always the one of the nicest people and he will certainly be missed, ” one post read. Jimmy Mashburn graduated Coventry High School in 2010 and attended Stark State College off Technology and the University of Akron, where he got his Bachelor of Education in 2018. Mashburn is treatment expert for Stow-Munroe High School, a place he’s held since August 2022. He was formerly treatment expert at Green Local Schools. Previous roles include Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist at Stow-Munroe Falls High School, Warehouse Supervisor at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and a Warehouse Worker at the House of LaRose, according to his Linked In.
