The President of the National Assembly, El Malick Ndiaye, represents Senegal in South Africa, where he will take part in forums devoted to strengthening parliamentary diplomacy. He will participate in the annual Conference of Presidents of African Parliaments, scheduled for 29-30 September 2025 in Johannesburg, under the theme: “Transforming parliaments for a continental integration carried by citizens, sustainable development, prosperity and peace”. On this occasion, El Malick Ndiaye will present the Senegalese vision of the role of parliamentary institutions in regional integration. He will then travel to Cape Town to participate in the 11th Summit of the Presidents of the Parliaments of the G20 (P20), scheduled for 1 to 3 October 2025 and organised with the Interparliamentary Union. The discussions will focus on parliamentary diplomacy at the service of global solidarity, equality and sustainability.
