Former Arsenal attacking midfielder, Paul Merson believes that Manchester City can clinch the Premier League title ahead of the Gunners, provided they secure victories in all their remaining matches.
Merson spoke as City prepares to face Newcastle United in the Premier League this Saturday.
Man City currently trails Mikel Arteta’s side by five points in the league standings.
The Cityzens have played 26 matches, while Arsenal, the league leaders, have played 27 matches.
In an interview with Sportskeeda, Merson said, “If Manchester City win every game from now on, they win the league title.
“Three weeks ago, you could never have thought it would be this way. It’s quite unbelievable how Arsenal have slipped up.”
Currently, there are fewer than 12 Premier League matches left to conclude the season.
