Manchester United caretaker manager, Michael Carrick, has explained why his team lost 2-1 against Leeds United in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Monday.
Carrick watched as a brace from Noah Okafor ensured the visitors defeated the Red Devils.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sports, Carrick pinpointed a sluggish start as a key factor.
“We did not start the game particularly well. We conceded, which came after Leny Yoro got a forearm smash in the back of his head,” Carrick said.
“We did not quite have the rhythm and we did not click. We had some moments but it was not there for large parts of the half.”
