Ghana Is A Sick Country! – Berla Mundi Explains Why

Berla Mundi recently issued a statement outlining her frustration with the country’s sound pollution, sparking a conversation on social media.
She lamented the increased noise trucks selling products in private areas as early as 6 AM in a now-viral article.
The well-known Ghanaian media personality questioned why suppliers, particularly those selling “nkura de,” a native herbal remedy, play loud music and make announcements at early hours of the morning, causing disturbance to those who are snoring or getting ready for work. She called for urgent attention to these disturbances in industrial settings and described this condition as “noise waste.”
Some people believe that Ghana’s noise pollution is a big problem, while others think that city sellers are just trying to make a living off of her remarks. Some have requested that Berla revert to a quieter neighborhood if the sound pollution is often bothering her.
She wrote on X” Ghana is a sick state, seriously! Please explain to me why there is a vehicle offering “nkura duro” with loud music and presentations as early as 6am on the streets when people are sleeping or getting ready for work. That’s sound waste …”
Since then, she has received a lot of negative press for trying to discredit talented people who struggle to make ends meet.
