Saskatchewan’s highest judge has given a thumbs-down to an elegance in a legal situation involving the use of an icon. A ruling by the Court of Appeal of Saskatchewan found that a thumbs-up icon complied with personal needs and was a legally binding contract between a producer and a rice customer.
