  The heavy rains of yesterday, Tuesday, have plunged the city of Touba into an indescribable situation. Virtually all the evacuated areas have been flooded again. The central city of Touba recorded new heavy rainfall between Monday and Tuesday evening estimated at 95.1 mm of rain in the space of 24 hours, plunging the area into a chaotic situation. Several quarters where the water level had fallen were submerged again. At the level of the 72 000 mm pumping station, the water exceeds the limits. It is also the case before the mairie de Touba, blocking thus the circulation. According to the Rfm, it is the charretiers who ensure transport in certain localities because the cars are parked, and the populations are obliged to mount on board the chariots to cross.
