​Kaolack: Three arrests for drug possession and trafficking 

  The Kaolack police conducted two separate operations which led to the arrest of three individuals for drug possession and trafficking, thus strengthening the fight against drug trafficking in the region. Following an operational intelligence, the Central Commissariat of Kaolack arrested an individual in flagrant drug trafficking offence. The suspect was preparing to sell 2 kg of Indian hemp, acquired for the sum of 250 000 FCFA. A discreet surveillance device had been set up near the place indicated by the intelligence. During the attempted delivery, the suspect was apprehended with the drug in his possession. He was immediately placed in custody, and an investigation is underway to determine the ramifications of this trafficking. In another operation, the Commissariat d’arrondissement de Ndorong arrested two people involved in a drug trafficking in the quartier de Boustane.
