”Le Scrabble vaut mieux que les ordres de tuer”:Wally Diouf Bodiang tackles the opposition and the opposition is the only one who can stop him.

A photo of the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, playing Scrabble during his flight to the United States to participate in the 80th General Assembly of the United Nations, elicits mixed comments on social networks. Some political actors of the opposition see it as a sign of lightness in a period of national difficulties, while others consider the image as that of a moment of détente in a context of demanding work. Faced with this controversy, the DG of the Autonomous Port of Dakar Wally Diouf Bodiang has brought a reply on his Facebook page. According to him, “le Scrabble entre deux séances de travail est préférable aux ordres de tuer donnés entre deux siestes perturbées”, in reference to a comparison with the former government.
