Johannesburg – Multi-award-winning American R&B and Neo-Soul legend Maxwell is returning to South African stages this August, treating fans to two intimate and powerful performances in Pretoria and Cape Town.
The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and producer will perform at SunBet Arena in Pretoria on Saturday, 8 August 2026, and at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on Tuesday, 11 August 2026.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect, as the shows fall squarely within Women’s Month, adding an extra layer of celebration and appreciation through his soul-stirring music.
Known for his silky vocals and timeless hits, including “This Woman’s Work,” “Pretty Wings,” “Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder),” “Fortunate,” “Whenever Wherever Whatever,” and “Sumthin’ Sumthin’,” Maxwell is expected to deliver unforgettable live sets that showcase his rich catalogue and legendary stage presence.

Prices range from R950 to R2 950 for the Pretoria show and R1 250 to R2 950 for Cape Town.
Gates open at 6 pm for the Pretoria concert and 4PM for the Cape Town show.
